International is a global service organization of executives in business and
the professions working together to advance the status of women. Nearly 33,000
members belong to more than 1,200 Zonta Clubs in 68 countries and geographic areas. For

Zonta
International seeks to:

was established November 8, 1919 in Buffalo, New York, with nine charter clubs.Zonta
Club of Denver is a member club of District 12 (Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota,
and Montana) in Area 3 (the Metropolitan Denver area). On
March 11, 1927 the Zonta
Club of Denver was chartered, becoming the first club between Chicago and the
Pacific Coast. Since its inception, the club in Denver has helped to organize
at least 10 clubs in the western United States. In 1935 the club started
with the organization of the club in Kansas City and has gone on to organize clubs
in Colorado (Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Prowers County, and Boulder); in Wyoming
(Casper, Sheridan, and Converse County) and also Billings, MT and Black Hills,
SD.
