The
Zonta Club of Denver has participated in many community projects over the years. Follow this link for a news article about our $30,500 donations in 2011.
- Grant Recipients
- A listing of recipients of this current fiscal year's grant awards in
the Denver community as well as past contributions to non-profit organizations.
- Hands
on Service -
- Our club has heeded the call from members to make a variety of hands-on
projects available to members of our club. Every service event or project
needs someone to love, nurture, and allow it to be successful. Each project
will have a Service Coordinator who will be that leader.
- Grant
Application Process
- Zonta Club of Denver grants funding
opportunities once per year. Applications are submitted in September, reviewed
by the Service Committee, and voted on by the membership in October or November. Awards
are granted and distributed in February of the following year. Applications for 2011-2012 grants must be received by September 17, 2011.
Making Project C.U.R.E. Kits for Kids
The Zonta Club of Denver recently put together packages of basic home healthcare and hygiene supplies for young families in developing countries. The effort was reported on at The Denver Post's YourHub site.
